BUILT AROUND YOUR PROPERTY

A connected approach to rural security.

Machinery and equipment storage

Start with the buildings and yard areas where valuable equipment is stored. Discuss what cameras should show, how recordings will be reviewed and whether intruder alarms should form part of the proposal.

Entrances and remote locations

A camera at an entrance needs a suitable position, power and a connection. We consider remote camera options alongside links back to the farmhouse or office.

Several buildings, one site

A camera system may rely on connections across several buildings. Wireless links, wired networks and Wi-Fi should be considered together so the wider system has an appropriate foundation.

LIVESTOCK MONITORING

Livestock, calving & lambing cameras.

Keep a view of your livestock buildings and check calving or lambing areas without walking to the shed for every look.

We plan camera coverage for cattle sheds, calving pens and lambing buildings around what you need to see. Remote viewing can let you check from the farmhouse or your phone, where the selected equipment and internet connection support it.

See the pens that matter

Camera position and viewing angle should give a useful view of animals and pens. We assess the building layout, lighting and installation conditions before recommending equipment.

Check from where you are

Discuss who needs access, whether you want live viewing or recordings, and which devices you use. Cameras support routine observation alongside hands-on livestock checks.

Connect the livestock building

We assess power and connectivity in the shed. Wired networks, wireless building links or 4G options may be suitable depending on distance, layout and signal.

Your questions, answered.

Can you install cameras for calving and lambing?

Yes. We can plan cameras for calving pens, lambing sheds and other livestock areas. Tell us the buildings and pens you want to view so we can discuss coverage, power and connectivity.

Can I watch livestock cameras from the farmhouse or my phone?

Remote viewing is possible where the chosen system and connection support it. A shed without broadband may need a wired or wireless link, or a mobile connection where suitable signal is available.

Where should farm cameras go?

Start with the areas you need to see: entrances, storage, yards and routes between buildings. Position and coverage should be chosen around the purpose of each camera and the conditions on site.

Can a camera work without broadband at the gate?

A mobile-connected camera or a link back to an existing network may be an option. Signal, power and the site layout need to be assessed.

How much does farm CCTV cost?

There is no useful fixed price without knowing the site and requirements. Camera numbers, recording, power and building connections all influence the quote. Request a free survey to discuss the scope.
